The Meeting Support Institute for tradeshows

To support its mission, the Meeting Support Institute needs to be present in the market. Industry tradeshows are important in that sense. The Meeting Support Institute sees 3 levels of potential co-operation with your tradeshow.

  • Meeting Support Institute single stand
  • Meeting Support Institute group stand for members
  • Meeting Support Institute educational contribution (presentation, learning lab, roundtable, …)

  • MEETING SUPPORT INSTITUTE SINGLE STAND

This small stand is to the Meeting Support Institute as an innovative association to meeting professionals.

The members of the Meeting Support Institute are allowed to have one A4 leaflet present at this stand.

The planners get to know the institute and its members, and learn where to find innovative tools for their meetings.

Your tradeshow displays its industry connections and dedication.
The Meeting Support Institute is interested to meet meeting support companies (technology, production, AV etc)

  • GROUP STAND

As an extension to the Meeting Support Institute stand we want to offer our members a small, low cost entry to your tradeshow. Connected to the Meeting Support Institute stand this would create a meeting support group stand and eventually evolve into a Meeting Support zone. The members are allowed to be present at the booth on minimal a 2m² base.

The goal for the members is to get an introduction to the MICE industry.

The goal for the visitor is to get to discover new creative, technical or technology tools for improving their meetings.

The goal for your tradeshow is to provide visitors with market information of small innovative companies.

And finally creating a low cost entry for new potential exhibitors.

  • EDUCATION

The Meeting Support Institute has different educational packages for your conference from a 90 minutes presentation up to a full day session with some collaboration and networking. We can also repeat the 90 minutes session 4 times in a day, which makes more sense for a tradeshow. Meeting planners will leave the session with:

  • an understanding of the Meeting Support concept,
  • the ability to use the Meeting Support Matrix and improve ROI for meetings,
  • an introduction to a large number of innovative tools from our members
  • the ability to have more influence on learning, networking and motivation at meetings

PRACTICAL

Promotion: the Meeting Support activities should be part of the normal tradeshow / educational program and announced / promoted as such.

Cost: As a young and developing segment in the MICE industry, we need your support.

Our members will usually pay a rate which makes it a low cost entry to test the market and your tradeshow.

Depending on your support in lowering the fee for our members, you are involved in the selection process: Our members have to fill out a request and a jury selects the most attractive companies. You can have a veto in that selection process so you can select ‘new’ customers only to avoid cannibalizing your show.

The Meeting Support Institute asks for your support and sponsorship through one complimentary stand for the Meeting Support Institute itself and for education a meeting room with basic AV.

IN RETURN

Seed capital: the Meeting Support Institute aims at the growth potential of its members. These start at a low cost booth and may grow to become a “normal client” of your future tradeshows.

Attraction: we will invite our planner members that want to learn mainly through e-mail and our website.

Content: the presence of the Meeting Support Institute and its content is meaningful for your visitors.

Good cause: you support a new industry association in its early stages. Consider yourself as a founding partner.

Exposure: We generate exposure for your tradeshow on our website and in our communication.

IN SHORT

Important innovative value is added with future potential at no cost. No money and only limited time needs to be invested. The concept “meeting support” connects perfectly to hot MICE issues like procurement, ROI and regulatory issues.
