What the participants said about the conference

The first Meeting Content Conference has been evaluated by the European Event ROI Institute for attendee satisfaction, intended actions and learning. A further evaluation is planned in August where participants will be asked to report on how the conference has actually had an impact on their work behaviour.

The participants were overall very satisfied, 94% said the conference was ‘good’ or ‘very good’. The highest scoring workshops were Ib Ravn ‘The Learning Meeting’, Caroline van Niekerk ‘Music in Meetings’, Maarten Vanneste ‘The Meeting Architect’ and Richard John ‘What Speakers Should Know About Learning’.

Participants were asked what they intended to do with their newly acquired knowledge and 86% of the meeting planners said that they would start experimenting with new conference formats and learning processes and 65% would engage different types of experts for future conferences in order to achieve the change, clearly a result which warmed the hearts of the conference organizers.

There is no doubt that the participants left with a lot of enthusiasm for the conference, 70% volunteering to help with organizing the next one and 55% pledged to contribute to the online knowledgebase of the Meeting Support Institute.
