Mario Thelen
Mario Thelen is foundation partner of the consultancy company Frankfurt Economics, operating all over Germany, registered in Eschborn, near Frankfurt am Main. As an industrial engineer he is specialised in programme and project management and supports clients of all businesses in the integration of innovative technical solutions. As a management expert he applies established as well as innovative methods and approaches, as for example LEGO® SERIOUS PLAYä. The certified PRINCE 2 – Practitioner also offers organisational consultancy and project management to companies.
Aged 38, Mario Thelen has management experience of more than 10 years: up to the foundation of Frankfurt Economics in 2001, he was head of the business segment “IT Business Services” at SerCon GmbH, an affiliate of IBM Deutschland GmbH. It was during this period that he carried out the development and operation of the WAP-Portal of T-Mobile. Additionally, at Commerzbank, he was responsible for the planning, coordination and conversion of processes effected by Y2K. Before his time at SerCon, Mario Thelen worked as Technical Consultant for RKK Informationssysteme GmbH in Hamburg; there he was responsible for planning, development and administration of a computer centre for the Austrian mobile phone company Connect Austria, today called ONE. In the mid-nineties – before he changed into commerce – Mario Thelen was doing research at the Fraunhofer Institut für Systemtechnik und Innovationsforschung (ISI) in Karlsruhe.
Mario Thelen holds a diploma in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Karlsruhe. In 2001 he received a Diploma in Management from Henley Management College in England, followed by the Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2005. |
