Webges:software and services for conference organizers

WEBGES provides a complete modular solution with a proven software platform and efficient services to manage: Member Management, Registration, Program and Presentation Distribution.

We are an operational industry and it is time to embrace that.

For over a decade we now have heard about the ‘seat at the table’, ‘strategic meeting management’, ROI etc.  All very interesting topics, but the vast majority in the meetings industry have not walked far with these things.

I believe that the explanation is simple: Meeting planning is an operational world and the hearts and minds of the people are not into C-level stuff.

Give Participants Time to Talk

Superevent-The ultimate app to power all your events. IMEX Fresh Dinner App sponsor

We started Superevent because we noticed that meeting people and networking is increasingly   becoming the main reason to attend professional events, while the content is the shared interest that connects us.

This got us thinking, because the networking tools that organizers provide are non-existent or basic at best.
When was the last time you got access to the attendee
list? Or did you not…

With Superevent we aim to provide the best tools to facilitate (professional) meetings and events, for all stakeholders.

Learning: Actively Recalling Information from Memory Beats Elaborate Study Methods

ScienceDaily (Jan. 21, 2011) — Put down those science books and work at recalling information from memory. That's the shorthand take away message of new research from Purdue University that says practicing memory retrieval boosts science learning far better than elaborate study methods. "Our view is that learning is not about studying or getting knowledge 'in memory,'" said Purdue psychology professor Jeffrey Karpicke, the lead investigator for the study that appears January 20 in the journal Science. "Learning is about retrieving.

Pretty woman, dumb man…

Johan Karremans couldn’t remember his own address when an attractive lady asked him at the end of a conversation. This Dutch psychologist had been so busy trying to impress her that his cognitive abilities were temporary exhausted. He decided to investigate this more closely and discovered man can’t think optimally after a conversation with a woman. The prettier the woman, the stronger the effect. With women this effect did not appear.
