Websites designed for mobile devices are popular ways to share information with attendees. However, understanding the differences between, native, web-based and hybrid mobile apps are essential in choosing the right technology for your event or conference. A web app is an application accessed through a devices browser and is limited by the functionality of the mobile browser. In contrast, a native app is downloaded onto the device, loading all pages/documents when the app is installed thus eliminating the need for a network to view content. |
